What are the qualifications of the caregiver staff?
Excellacare hires only experienced non-medical caregiver staff. The caregivers have a wide variety of experience ranging from working in hospitals to homemaking experience. We match a staff that suits your need.
All Nurses and Therapists are licensed by the state of Michigan.
What times and days are your services offered?
Excellacare provides care in the home by non-medical caregivers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When self paid services are ordered, you may contract for any number of days, hours or times a week.
Doctor ordered visits by a Nurse or Therapist are planned by our Clinical Coordination Team based on the Plan of Care approved by your physician.
How are staff supervised?
Excellacare's professional office staff provides supervision by a Registered Nurse and the staffing team to our non-medical caregivers. Our caregiver staff provide regular communication about clients on their daily logs and it is reviewed on a regular basis by the Registered Nurse. We also provide regular on site supervisory visits of all non-medical personnel.
Nursing and Therapies are supervised by our Clinical Coordinator Team and the Plan of Care is supervised by ordering physician.
